Features of the combined course of opisthorchosis and lambliosis

The purpose of the research is identifying and determining clinical laboratory features coinfection caused by Opisthorchis felineus Lamblia intestinalis. Materials methods. We described a picture abnormalities in 50 patients with O. infection. Of these cases, 25 people were diagnosed lambliosis. therapy included three consecutive stages: preparatory stage, antiprotozoal anthelmintic treatments, rehabilitation stage. stage was aimed to improve biliary tract function, reduce intoxication symptoms, stop acute allergic reactions. received choleretics, antispasmodics, antibacterial drugs, antihistamines, enzymes, adsorbents for 2–4 weeks. At end from second group prescribed albendazole 800 mg per day two doses 400 os during meals 5 days. In treatment opisthorchosis praziquantel at dose 75 mg/kg body weight one doses. phase lasted four months. next step assess lamblia eradication results control coproprotozooscopy and/or biliprotozooscopy cysts vegetative forms L. intestinalis 7 days, 1 month 6 months after albendazole. coproovoscopy eggs performed treatment. Results discussion. studied influence on nature severity symptoms opisthorchosis. It revealed that (abdominal pain, nausea, low-grade fever or dermatosis) syndromes (cytolysis cholestasis) more pronounced case concomitant helminth protozoan infections.
